I saw this on a lighthouse cruise on August 17 2021.
The lighthouse is owned by the City of Newport and managed by the Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation. Grounds open, dwelling/tower open during tours.
Guests can also spend the night in one of two rooms located on the first floor of the lighthouse, or remain an entire week in the upper floor as keepers.
