Pond Island Light is a lighthouse at the mouth of the Kennebec River, Maine. It was first established in 1821 on Pond Island at the mouth of the Kennebec. The present structure was built in 1855.

I visited this light on July 16 2022.
The island and lighthouse are owned by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and are part of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge. The island is managed by the Audubon Society. Grounds open September through March, tower closed.
There are various public cruises that pass the lighthouse. I used the cruise by Maine Maritime Museum out of Bath
